Annual Golf Tournament
The Columbia (SC) Chapter of the Links has been hosting the Golf Tournament since 2007. Originally a biennial event, the tournament is now held annually. The proceeds support the charitable, educational and scholarship programs of the Chapter including, but not limited to: Mini Grants for teachers in Richland School Districts One and Two, G.E.M.S. (Girls Educated and Motivated to Succeed) at W.A. Perry Middle School, Burton-Pack Elementary School Fitness and Exercise Trail, Be The Match (National Bone Marrow Donation Program), SisterCare, The Everett L. Dargan Scholarship at the USC School of Medicine, Dress for Success Mentoring Program at the SC Department of Juvenile Justice, Colgate Dental Trailer, Columbia City Ballet and Columbia City Jazz. Additionally, the Links Scholars program, administered by the Central Carolina Community Foundation, enables us to provide college scholarship assistance to students who qualify academically but lack the necessary funds to attend a four year institution of higher learning.
